My changes don’t show up on my profile

In the editor (Customize), nothing goes live until you click Save (or Ctrl S). If the “Unsaved changes” bar is still there, you haven’t saved yet. See Using the profile editor.

Some options disappeared after saving

Those are Premium options: you could try them in the preview, but they’re removed when you save without Premium. The notification tells you which ones. See What Premium unlocks.

My music won’t start

Browsers block sound until the visitor has clicked on the page. Keep the enter screen turned on (Customize → Enter): clicking to enter starts the music. Also check that Autoplay is turned on in Audio.

My Discord presence doesn’t show

You need to be a member of the SLAZE Discord server with the linked account, and your activity status has to be turned on for that server. All the steps: Discord presence and widgets.

I didn’t get the email

• Check your spam folder and the Promotions tab.
• Check your account’s address in Settings → Info.
• A confirmation link is valid for 48 hours, a password link for 1 hour: ask for a new one if needed.

I can’t log in anymore

• Forgot your password: get your account back.
• You signed up with Discord or Google: use the same button on the login page.
• “Too many attempts”: wait 15 minutes, then try again.
• You lost your phone with 2FA on it: use a recovery code. See Two-factor authentication and sessions.

My file is rejected

• File too large: check the max size for your plan (Hosting images and files).
• Unsupported format: convert it to a common format (PNG, JPG, MP4, MP3…).
• Media rejected: sexual content detected: NSFW content isn’t allowed on SLAZE. If you think it’s a mistake, write to us.

My link is rejected

Links to adult sites are banned, even shortened ones. See Community rules.

The username I want is “reserved” or “already taken”

Some words are reserved for the site to work, and a username or alias that’s already in use can’t be taken. Try a variant with a _ or a ..

SLAZE doesn’t work at all

Check the Service status page: if there’s an ongoing incident, it’s shown there.
